SYRACUSE CRUNCH INK DEFENSEMAN RYAN MCGINNIS TO AHL DEAL
Syracuse, NY (November 18, 2011) – The Syracuse Crunch have announced today that the club has signed defenseman Ryan McGinnis to an American Hockey League Contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

McGinnis, 24, recorded five points (5a) in 14 games this season with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. He has played 71 career AHL games recording 11 points (1g, 10a) with Albany, Norfolk and Manitoba. McGinnis has recorded 71 points (12g, 59a) in 136 ECHL games with Florida and Kalamazoo. The Flint, MI native was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the sixth round, 184th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

McGinnis is expected to be available Friday, November 18 when the Syracuse Crunch host the Hershey Bears at the War Memorial Arena.
