Syracuse, NY (November 16, 2011) The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have assigned Nick Bonino to the Crunch. The Crunch have also signed defenseman Mike Ratchuk to a professional tryout contract.
 
Bonino, 23 has appeared in nine games for the Crunch this season recording 11 points (2g, 9a). He appeared in the Ducks 5-4 overtime loss on November 1 at Washington, playing 11:49. Bonino is expected to play tonight in Rochester.
 
Additionally, the Crunch have signed Elmira Jackals (ECHL) defenseman Mike Ratchuk to a PTO.  While in Elmira, Ratchuk recorded seven points (3g, 4a) in 11 games. Ratchuk played for the Crunch in 2009-10, recording 10 points (3g, 7a) in 35 games.
 
The Crunch are on the road Wednesday, November 16 to take on the Rochester Americans. Their next home is game Friday, November 18^th at 7:30 p.m. when they meet the Hershey Bears at the War Memorial Arena.
