Crunch Assign Goaltender Dan Taylor to Gwinnett and Release Center Charlie Kronschnabel
Syracuse, NY (January 18, 2010) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have assigned goaltender Dan Taylor to Gwinnett (ECHL). In addition, the club has released center Charlie Kronschnabel from his professional tryout contract.
Taylor, 23, has appeared in three games for the Crunch this season, going 0-1-0 with a 4.62 goals against average and .837 save percentage. He has also skated in 18 games with Gwinnett this year, going 9-6-3 with a 3.52 goals against average and .904 save percentage. A native of Plymouth, England, Taylor was signed by the Crunch to an AHL contract on October 1, 2009.
Kronschnabel, 26, appeared in four games with Syracuse and made his Crunch debut on December 29 at Texas. In addition, he has skated in 31 games with Reading (ECHL) this year, totaling seven goals, six assists and 25 penalty minutes. A native of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, Kronschnabel has appeared in 52 combined AHL games with the Crunch, Iowa and Portland, tallying two goals, six assists and 19 penalty minutes.
