Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY, (Tuesday, October 13, 2009)
Syracuse, NY (October 13, 2009) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have loaned left wing Tim Miller to Gwinnett (ECHL). In addition, the Crunch have released goaltender Dan Tormey from his professional tryout contract.
 
Miller, 22, appeared in one game with the Crunch last season, tallying one goal, his first as a professional, April 11 vs. Rochester. A native of Davisburg, Michigan, Miller was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on October 1.
 
Tormey, 24, appeared in six games with Minnesota State – Mankato last season, going 1-3-0 with a 3.87 goals against average and .878 save percentage. A native of Syracuse, NY, Tormey attended the Crunch’s 2009-10 Training Camp on a tryout basis.
 
The Crunch’s next game is on Friday, October 16 when they battle Norfolk at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444 or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
