Gilbert Brule Recalled by Columbus

Syracuse, NY (January 30, 2008) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Gilbert Brule.
Brule, 21, has appeared in 12 games with the Crunch this season, tallying 4 goals, 4 assists and 16 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 31 games for Columbus this season, notching 1 goal, 3 assists and 10 penalty minutes. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Brule was drafted by Columbus in the first round, sixth overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
