Syracuse, NY (December 4, 2007) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have returned defenseman Marc Methot to Syracuse.
Methot, 22, has appeared in 20 games with Syracuse this season, tallying 3 points (2g, 1a) and 32 penalty minutes. Methot skated in 20 games with Columbus last season, notching 4 assists and 5 penalty minutes. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Methot was drafted by Columbus in the 6th round, 168th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Crunch’s next game is Tuesday, December 4 as they travel to Chicago to take on the Wolves. The Crunch return home Saturday, December 15 to battle the Hamilton Bulldogs at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
