Andrew Penner Reassigned to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY, (Friday, April 9, 2004)

The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned goaltender Andrew Penner to Syracuse.

Penner, 21, appeared in 50 games with Dayton (ECHL) this season, posting a 15-27-2 record, a 3.80 goals against average and .885 save percentage. Penner was reassigned to Syracuse earlier in the season but did not appear in any games. A native of Scarborough, Ontario, Penner was signed as a free agent by Columbus on September 17, 2001.
