The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned defenseman Zenith Komarniski to the Crunch.

Komarniski, 25, has appeared in 43 games with Syracuse this season, recording 2 goals, 19 assists and 67 penalty minutes. He has also played in two games with the Blue Jackets this season, without recording a point. In 283 career AHL games with Syracuse and Manitoba, Komarniski has tallied 35 goals, 78 assists and 568 penalty minutes. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Komarniski was acquired by Columbus from Vancouver for Sean Pronger, October 30, 2003.
