
The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled right wing David Ling.
Ling, 29, has appeared in 12 games with Syracuse this season, recording 7 goals, 10 assists and 21 penalty minutes. In 41 games with Columbus earlier this season, Ling recorded 1 goal, 2 assists and 72 penalty minutes. Ling has appeared in 324 career AHL games with Saint John, Fredericton and Syracuse, recording 104 goals, 196 assists and 965 penalty minutes. A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ling was signed by Columbus as a free agent on July 7, 2001.
The Crunch hosts Manitoba on Friday, March 19 for a 7:30 p.m. game. On Saturday, March 20, Syracuse hosts Rochester.
