Crunch Classic Returns -- Eighth Annual Classic Set For March 15

Syracuse, NY, (Wednesday, March 12, 2003)

The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Eighth Annual Crunch Classic is set for Saturday, March 15, at 3 p.m., before the Crunch take on the Rochester Americans.

This years’ event will feature local area youth hockey coaches and personnel. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Elmcrest Children’s Center.

Through residential and community-based programs, Elmcrest Children’s Center helps our communities troubled and neglected youth by meeting their behavioral and emotional needs. For more information on Elmcrest Children’s Center visit www.elmcrest.org.

The Crunch travel to Albany tonight for a 7 p.m. match-up. Crunch action can be heard on SportsRadio 620 WHEN with play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott. The Crunch return home on Friday, March 14 for Cintas Rally Towel Night, where the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Crunch rally towel, courtesy of Cintas. Saturday, March 15, the Crunch host the Rochester Americans for Empire Vision Centers Poster Night II, when all fans in attendance will receive a Crunch poster, compliments of Empire Vision Centers. Both games are set for a 7:30 p.m. face-off.
