Columbus Recalls Nedorost and Bellefeuille -- Syracuse Recalls Dzieduszycki From Dayton

Syracuse, NY, (Friday, November 15, 2002)

The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled centers Andrej Nedorost and Blake Bellefeuille. The Syracuse Crunch also announced that they have recalled center Matt Dzieduszycki from Dayton (ECHL).

Nedorost, 22, has appeared in seven games with Syracuse this season, recording two goals, four assists and 10 penalty minutes. In three games with Columbus earlier this season, Nedorost recorded one assist and two penalty minutes. A native of Trencin, Slovakia, Nedorost was Columbus’ 10th pick, 286th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft.

Bellefeuille, 25, has appeared in eight games with the Crunch this season, recording one assist and four penalty minutes. In two games with Columbus last season, Bellefeuille, recorded one assist. A native of Framingham, Massachusetts, Bellefeuille was originally signed as a free agent by Columbus on May 31, 2000.

Dzieduszycki, 22, has appeared in two games with Syracuse this season, recording one goal and four penalty minutes. In 10 games with Dayton this year, Dzieduszycki has recorded six goals, three assists and 19 penalty minutes. A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Dzieduszycki signed an American Hockey League contract with Syracuse on July 13, 2002.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton tonight for a 7:05 p.m. game. Crunch action can be heard on SportsRadio 620 WHEN with play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott. Syracuse returns home to host the Philadelphia Phantoms on November 16.
