The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Syracuse Banana/Radio Disney “Name the Mascot Contest’.

Fans can register their vote for the Crunch’s new ice gorilla’s name by visiting the club’s official web-site at www.syracusecrunch.com and clicking on the Syracuse Banana/Radio Disney ‘Name the Mascot Contest’ story.

The winning entry will be drawn on September 30 with an announcement of the name and winner on October 11 . The winner will receive four (4) tickets to opening night, an appearance by the new mascot and participation in the opening ceremonies on October 13.
