It didn’t take long for the Crunch to strike in the second when Chris Higgins opened the scoring just 2:07 into the stanza. Higgins snuck behind the defense and took a lead pass from Tyler Murovich. The
Binghamton struck back to tie the game just three and a half minutes later when Josh Keller found the rebound of a shot in front and ripped it past Crunch starter Dan Taylor.
Less than five minutes after
The score stayed that way until the 7:44 mark of the third period when Jon Mirasty re-directed a Kevin Roeder point shot past Chris Holt to give the Crunch a 3-1 lead.
Taylor turned aside 25 of 26 shots in the win.
