Crunch Announce Details of Time Warner Cable Mini War Memorial Giveaway

Syracuse, NY (April 1, 2009) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Time Warner Cable mini War Memorial giveaway set for this Saturday, April 4 vs. Rochester.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a miniature version of the War Memorial at Oncenter, compliments of Time Warner Cable.
The limited addition mini War Memorial displays the details of the Crunch’s home arena, the War Memorial at Oncenter. In addition, the mini War Memorial has a removable roof that displays the inside of the historic building.
Since being built in 1951 as a tribute to Onondaga County’s service men and women, the War Memorial has been home to athletic contests and cultural events spanning over half a century. Now primarily the home of the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch, the War Memorial has seen championship teams and athletes, Hollywood stars and legendary musicians in its 58-year history.
The Crunch’s next game is Friday, April 3 as they battle Rockford at the War Memorial at Oncenter at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
