Crunch Sign Left Wing Brian McGuirk

Syracuse, NY (March 24, 2008) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed left wing Brian McGuirk to an amateur try-out contract.
McGuirk, 22, appeared in 37 games this season for Boston University (Hockey East), tallying 4 goals, 9 assists and 53 penalty minutes. A native of Danvers, Massachusetts, McGuirk was drafted by Columbus in the eighth round, 231st overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
