Oswego State announced today that tickets for the Shapiro Motor Sales of Oswego Classic will go on sale on Friday, September 14. All tickets will be general admission and cost $10. The box office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3-6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5 p.m. The phone number is (315) 312-3033. The first-ever Shapiro Motor Sales of Oswego Classic is an American Hockey League preseason game between the Syracuse Crunch and Rochester Americans on Sunday, September 30 at 5 p.m. at the Campus Center Ice Arena. The Shapiro Motor Sales of Oswego Classic will match these long-standing regional rivals on the Oswego State campus as they prepare for the upcoming AHL season.

Proceeds from the sale of these tickets will go toward funding upcoming travel expenses for the Oswego State women''s and men''s ice hockey teams as they travel to compete in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Season tickets for the 2007-08 season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444 or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter.
