The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Stephen Margeson to a professional try-out contract and have signed right wing Rob Sirianni to an amateur try-out contract.
Margeson, 25, tallied 17 goals, 22 assists and 125 penalty minutes in 64 games with Youngstown (Central Hockey League). The Banff, Alberta native signed with the SteelHounds prior to the 2006-07 season.
Sirianni, 23, finished his collegiate career with Bemidji State University of Minnesota, where he recorded 11 goals and 18 assists. He signed an amateur tryout with the SteelHounds prior to the start of the post season. In 131 career game with Bemidji State, Sirianni recorded 48 goals and 52 assists.
