Columbus Recalls Glencross -- Blue Jackets Assign Pohl To Syracuse

Syracuse, NY, (Saturday, April 7, 2007)

The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled left wing Curtis Glencross and the Blue Jackets have assigned right wing Petr Pohl from Dayton (ECHL) to Syracuse.

Glencross, 24, has appeared in 27 games with Syracuse this season, tallying 16 goals, 16 assists and 44 penalty minutes. In 157 career AHL games with Cincinnati, Portland and Syracuse, Glencross has registered 45 goals, 40 assists and 272 penalty minutes. Glencross also has eight NHL games (Anaheim and Columbus) to his credit with one goal and two penalty minutes. A native of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Glencross was acquired by Columbus from Anaheim on January 26, 2007.

Pohl, 20, has appeared in 65 games with Dayton this season, tallying 8 goals, 17 assists and 18 penalty minutes. A native of Prostejov, Czech Republic, Pohl was selected by Columbus in the fifth round, 133rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.
