The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Brad Farynuk, center Trevor Frischmon and defensemen Justin Vienneau and Jeff Winchester to two-way American Hockey League contracts.

Farynuk, 24, appeared in 30 games with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (ECAC) last season, recording 4 goals, 16 assists and 34 penalty minutes. A native of Enderby, British Columbia, Farynuk appeared in 146 career games with RPI, tallying 18 goals, 61 assists and 144 penalty minutes.

Frischmon, 24, appeared in 41 games with Colorado College (Western Collegiate Hockey Association), registering 7 goals, 9 assists and 41 penalty minutes. A native of Ham Lake, Minnesota, Frischmon appeared in 160 career games with Colorado College registering 30 goals, 36 assists and 121 penalty minutes.

Vienneau, 20, played in 54 games with Shawinigan last season(Quebec Major Junior Hockey League), tallying 1 goal, 14 assists and 164 penalty minutes and appeared in one game with Syracuse recording two penalty minutes. In 229 career games with Shawinigan, the Oshawa, Ontario native registered 5 goals, 40 assists and 589 penalty minutes.

Winchester, 24, appeared in 34 games at the University of Alabama Huntsville (College Hockey America ) recording 13 assists and 58 penalty minutes and appeared in five games with San Diego (ECHL), recording two assists and six penalty minutes. A native of Dalhousie, Nebraska, Winchester appeared in games at the 108University of Alabama Huntsville, tallying 4 goals, 41 assists and 273 penalty minutes.
