The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have reassigned goaltender Mike Ayers to Dayton (ECHL).

Ayers, 26, has appeared in 21 games with Syracuse this season, posting a 12-6-1 record, 2.59 goals against average and .920 save percentage. In 23 games with Dayton this season, Ayers posted a 7-13-2 record and 3.51 goals against average. A native of Hingham, Massachusetts, Ayers signed a contract with Syracuse on November 17, 2005.
