The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned center Ben Simon to Syracuse.

Simon, 27, has appeared in 13 NHL games with the Blue Jackets this season, recording four penalty minutes. In 54 games with Syracuse this year, Simon has registered 12 goals, 19 assists and 65 penalty minutes. The Shaker Heights, Ohio native has four shorthanded goals, tying him for third in the AHL this season and two shy of the league lead.
